Barcelona manager Xavi has discussed the last week after losing the Clásico to Real Madrid and drawing 1-1 with Inter in the Champions League.
“This week my mobile phone feels like a relative has died because of all the encouragement I’m receiving,” he said in quotes transcribed by Relevo in reference to the mood of Barcelona fans after the Clásico, and then went on to encourage the fans: “Positivity. This is football. We have to keep going. A defeat can’t stop us. We have to face reality. There are more titles and things at stake.”
Changes for Villarreal clash
“We will make some changes to freshen up the team. There are several players with some fatigue. There will be changes, but as always. We always make three or four changes from the previous game.”
On Ansu Fati
“He’s very good. The other day he came on and played very well. He’s training very well and he’ll play for sure. He’s going to be important.”
