Wolverhampton Wanderers could appoint Peter Bosz as their new manager as he is ‘now in the running’ to succeed Bruno Lage in the Molineux dugout, according to journalist Dean Jones.
Lage was sacked by the Wolves hierarchy earlier this month and chairman Jeff Shi has been on the lookout for a replacement since.

What’s the latest news involving Bosz?
According to The Times, Bosz and Michael Beale have been in talks with Wolves over the vacant manager’s job as the key decision-makers behind the scenes up the ante.
The report suggests the duo are on a three-man shortlist of candidates which also includes Nuno Espirito Santo, who only left the Molineux hot seat last year.
It is understood that Bosz impressed in discussions with the club after emerging as a candidate to succeed Lage at the helm.
The 58-year-old is currently out of work, having been sacked by Ligue 1 giants Lyon in October, so Wolves would not need to pay a compensation fee if they looked to hand him the reins.
Steve Davis and James Collins have been in interim charge since Lage was shown the door, but it appears the West Midlands side are nearing an appointment.

What has Dean Jones said about Bosz?
Jones understands that Bosz is in the race to be unveiled as Wolves’ next manager and also believes he is a better option than Queens Park Rangers head coach Michael Beale.
The journalist feels the Dutchman has shone elsewhere and has urged supporters to keep tabs on the situation.
When asked for an update on Wolves’ search for a new manager, Jones told GIVEMESPORT: “Peter Bosz is now in the running.
“I think he might make more sense than Beale, given his standing in the game and his reputation across Europe. That’s an interesting one to keep an eye on.”
Would Bosz be a good appointment by Wolves?
Bosz may not be in charge of a club at the moment, but he has previously managed the likes of Ajax, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen, so it is clear that he is highly regarded overseas.
He also led Ajax to the Europa League final in 2017 and, although his side were beaten by Manchester United, he has developed impressive sides challenging for silverware.
Bosz has registered 253 wins from 558 matches in management, averaging 1.57 points-per-game, and there is no doubt that he is capable of guiding a Wolves side flirting with the relegation zone up the Premier League table.
