Borussia Mönchengladbach are reportedly set to extend Breel Embolo’s contract by a further season.
According to Bild, ‘Die Fohlen’ have decided to activate a clause in the striker’s deal, which will see it extended until 2024.
A move away from Gladbach therefore seems off the table for Embolo for the time being.
25-year-old Embolo racked up 11 goals and six assists in 32 games for Gladbach during the 2021/22 campaign.
