RB Leipzig face Celtic on Tuesday evening on the fourth matchday of this season’s Champions League. Sitting third on three points, this is a must win game for Marco Rose’s side if they want to be in with a chance of qualifying for the knockout stages.
The Bundesliga side will be without Péter Gulácsi after the ‘keeper suffered an ACL tear in the return fixture. This prompted RB Leipzig to sign Örjan Nyland on a free transfer. Rose will also be without Marcel Halstenberg, who hasn’t travelled.
Other than that, Rose has an almost fully functioning squad for their clash against Celtic. A win for RB Leipzig would take them to second with two games remaining, dependent on the result between Shakhtar Donetsk and Real Madrid.
Kicker predict RB Leipzig’s possible starting XI against Celtic:
RB Leipzig: Janis Blaswich – Mohamad Simakan, Willi Orban, Josko Gvardiol, David Raum – Kevin Kampl, Xaver Schlager – Dominik Szoboszlai, Christopher Nkunku, Timo Werner – André Silva.
