Former FC Bayern München star Franck Ribery is reportedly set to end his career in the middle of the season due to persistent knee problems.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio and Sport Bild, among others, the 39-year-old will terminate his contract with Salernitana, which runs until 2023.
However, Ribéry will apparently remain at Salernitana until the end of the season, where he will act as a kind of ambassador.
The 39-year-old winger played 425 games for Bayern in all tournaments, racking up 124 goals and 182 assists.
