As things stand, a total of eight VfL Wolfsburg players are out of contract at the end of the season.
According to Kicker, Wolfsburg want to extend with two of them, namely Omar Marmoush and Paulo Otavio.

Reaching an agreement with Marmoush is proving to be difficult, but Wolfsburg haven’t given up their hopes of extending the Egyptian international’s contract and want to resume their talks with him soon.

‘Die Wölfe’ are also planning to sit down for talks with Paulo Otavio, who has established himself in the starting eleven under Niko Kovac.

Per the report, Wolfsburg also want to hold talks with substitute goalkeepers Niklas Klinger and Philipp Schulze, while Josip Brekalo, Jérôme Roussillon, Josuha Guilavogui and Max Kruse are all set to leave.
