Borussia Dortmund face Sevilla in the Champions League at the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán on Wednesday evening as they look for a positive response following Saturday’s 3-2 Bundesliga defeat against FC Köln.
Edin Terzic will be without Gregor Kobel, despite travelling, Mats Hummels and Marco Reus amongst other long-term absentees for their third Champions League fixture of the season. A win on MD1 against Copenhagen, BVB took the lead against Manchester City before conceding two goals in the final 10 minutes on MD2.
Against Sevilla, Bellingham will again captain the team in the absence of Hummels and Reus as they as they look to pick up what will be just their second win in five games across all competitions.
Kicker predict that Terzic will field the following starting XI vs Sevilla: Alexander Meyer – Thomas Meunier, Niklas Süle, Nico Schlotterbeck, Raphael Guerreiro – Salih Özcan, Jude Bellingham – Karim Adeyemi, Julian Brandt, Donyell Malen – Youssoufa Moukoko.
