Second-placed Darmstadt will play away at second-from-bottom Dynamo Dresden in matchday 24 of 2. Bundesliga. Florian Kohfeldt’s side last defeated on matchday 10, while Dresden have only lost once since the turn of the year.
Darmstadt extended their winning streak at home to six games with a late win against Fortuna Düsseldorf last week. However, they drew each of their last five matches away from home in 2. Bundesliga. The last four scorelines have had 18 goals in total.
The newly-promoted Dresden side had a difficult first half of the season, but results have improved in 2026. They beat Greuther Fürth and Magdeburg at the start of Rückrunde before three draws in their last four games.
Isac Lidberg and Fraser Hornby, who have scored 21 of Darmstadt’s 50 goals this term, were on target in the 2-0 win for the promotion hopefuls in the reverse fixture. That result extended Darmstadt’s winning streak against Dresden to six matches.
Team News
Marco Richter, who has now reached double digits for assists after his contributions in the goals against Düsseldorf, will miss Friday’s game because of accumulated yellow cards. Goalkeeper Lennart Grill is the only player currently on the sidelines from the hosts.
