Manuel Neuer has returned to individual training ahead of Bayern Munich’s Bundesliga top-of-the-table clash with Borussia Dortmund on Saturday.
After missing Bayern’s 3-2 win over Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday due to a calf muscle fiber injury, the 39-year-old completed a 30-minute session on Monday, according to Bild.
The session included goalkeeper exercises, though Neuer worked mostly on the ground and did not perform any jumps or high-intensity movements.
It remains uncertain whether Neuer will be fit for Saturday or if Jonas Uebig will start in goal once again.
Speaking after the win over Eintracht, Bayern board member for sport Max Eberl did not completely rule out a return for Neuer this weekend.
