Crystal Palace Ready to Move for Thomas Frank

Crystal Palace need to let Oliver Glasner go immediately after what happened against HSK Zrinjski, and they are reportedly ready to make an approach for Thomas Frank.

The Eagles were held to a 1-1 draw away at Zrinjski on Thursday evening, a side that are currently competing in the top division in Bosnia and Herzegovina. After the game, GIVEMESPORT correspondent Bobby Mazni confirmed that supporters were heard chanting ‘we want Glasner out’, with there being a lot of animosity towards the Palace boss throughout the game.

Thankfully for the Eagles, they have an opportunity to advance into the next round in the second leg of the tie, but that doesn’t make the result on Thursday any less disappointing.

Time for Oliver Glasner to Go

There’s no escaping that Glasner is one of, if not the best, managers to have ever taken charge of the club, but it’s time to move on.

Palace have won just once in all competitions in 2026, and things have been going downhill for a while now. Since Glasner announced that he would be departing at the end of the season on the same weekend they lost their captain, Marc Guehi, things haven’t been the same.

One win in 2026 simply isn’t good enough, and it’s clear that the manager has checked out, knowing he’s going to be leaving at the end of the campaign.

If the Eagles want to rescue their campaign, then it’s time to let Glasner leave early. There’s little motivation for him, knowing he’s going to be leaving the club, and one of their prime targets to replace him has recently become available.

Palace Readying Thomas Frank Approach

Thomas Frank on the touchline

According to reports, Palace are already readying an approach for former Tottenham manager Frank. The Eagles are believed to be ready to enter talks with Frank over a possible move in the summer, but it’s time for Palace to bring that forward.

Frank, who has been described as ‘incredible’, is now a free agent after he was sacked by Tottenham, and it feels like it’s the right time to bring him in. Keeping Glasner until the end of the season isn’t going to achieve much when the capital club are struggling like they are, and it feels right for all parties to head in a new direction.
