
Tottenham Hotspur are looking to bring in a quality manager after parting ways with Thomas Frank.
According to a report from Calciomercato, Enzo Maresca is in pole position to take over as the new manager of the North London club. The 46-year-old Italian is currently unemployed after being sacked by Chelsea.
He has previously shown his pedigree with Chelsea, and there is no doubt that he could be an acquisition for Spurs. Maresca helped Chelsea win two trophies in the last nine months.
Chelsea won the UEFA Europa Conference League in May, and then followed it up by winning the FIFA Club World Cup in July.
It will be interesting to see if Tottenham decide to appoint him as their next manager. They have had a disastrous season so far, and they will be desperate to bounce back strongly. The Italian will look to prove his quality once again after being sacked by Chelsea. Tottenham could be the ideal platform for him. They have the resources and quality team.
