Ansu Fati (23) is set to make his return to first-team action for AS Monaco. The Barcelona loanee is in line to feature against FC Nantes on Friday.
Fati has missed Monaco’s last two matches, a loss to RC Strasbourg Alsace in the Coupe de France, and a draw against OGC Nice over the weekend, through injury. He was replaced during Monaco’s 4-0 win over Stade Rennais at half-time with a calf injury, from which he has now fully recovered.
In a press conference attended by Get French Football News, Sébastien Pocognoli confirmed that Fati had taken part in the entirety of the session on Wednesday, ahead of Friday’s game against Nantes. He is in line to feature, unlike Christian Mawissa.
The Frenchman participated in the training session attended by GFFN, but did not participate in the entirety of it. The Principality club are being cautious with the former Toulouse FC defender.
