Tottenham are believed to be in pole position to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic on a free transfer in the summer, with his contract expiring with the Italian club, according to journalist Carlo Pellegatti.
Signing a new centre-forward could be one of Spurs’ priorities in the summer transfer window, with the future of Randal Kolo Muani uncertain. The French striker has struggled to live up to expectations since signing on loan, and it would be a huge surprise to see the north London club turn his deal permanent, as he still searches for his first Premier League goal.
Dominic Solanke has also endured injury troubles this season, but he’s recently returned to fitness, striking twice against Manchester City earlier this month. Finding a capable and reliable backup could be on the agenda, helping to provide cover and competition heading into the 2026/2027 campaign.
Tottenham Eyeing Free-Agent Striker
According to journalist Pellegatti, Tottenham are one of the sides in pole position to land Juventus striker Vlahovic when his contract expires in the summer. It’s claimed that clubs will hold an advantage in the race, due to his agent demanding hefty fees to get a deal over the line, making it difficult for other clubs to justify.
“Chelsea and Tottenham, and therefore England, could be in pole position for Dusan Vlahovic’s future. I’m not surprised, because his agent’s commission demands are very high. He himself wants a signing bonus. The financial negotiations are very complicated and, in my opinion, excessive for Milan at this time.”
With Vlahovic available on a free, it’s going to be an interesting battle to secure his signature in the coming months. Foot Mercato have claimed that Vlahovic’s future does lie away from Juventus, while journalist Valentin Feuillette has labelled the striker ‘world-class’ despite his recent struggles.

Vlahovic Could be Ideal Kolo Muani Replacement
If Spurs opt against signing Kolo Muani on a permanent deal, then they will need to find a replacement centre-forward in the summer market. Vlahovic, being a free agent, could be the ideal solution, as long as the agent costs and wages involved aren’t too hefty.
Spurs won’t want to invest too heavily in a striker if they believe that Solanke is their main man through the middle of attack, so a free-agent addition could be perfect. Vlahovic, who earns £400,000-a-week according to ESPN, has shown he’s capable of finding the back of the net regularly in his career, but he’s yet to be tested in the Premier League.
