RB Leipzig has officially confirmed this afternoon that both Peter Gulacsi and Maarten Vandevoordt have extended their contracts.
Vandevoordt’s current deal has been furthered by another year – the Belgian’s deal now runs until summer of 2030.
Meanwhile, Gulácsi has also extended his contract, which was due to expire at the end of the season, by another year until 2027.
Furthermore, third choice shot-stopper Leopold Zingerle will also remain with the Red Bulls, having signed a new contract until 2028.
Gulácsi is thus entering his twelfth season with RB Leipzig, having moved to Leipzig from Austrian side RB Salzburg in 2015.
“We are delighted to have extended the contracts of our three goalkeepers early,” said the club’s managing director of sport, Marcel Schäfer.
“With Pete, Maarten and Leo, we have an extremely high level of quality in the position and certainly one of the strongest trios in the Bundesliga.”
