Liverpool and Man City will go head-to-head in the Premier League at Anfield on Sunday afternoon, with both sides desperate for a victory.
Arne Slot’s side come into the game on the back of a dominant 4-1 win over Newcastle last weekend, but they currently sit in sixth place in the table, five points behind Man Utd in fourth. Pep Guardiola’s side, on the other hand, surrendered a 2-0 lead against Tottenham last weekend to draw 2-2 and sit nine points behind league leaders Arsenal, but did book a place in the Carabao Cup final in midweek with a 3-1 win over Newcastle.
Both sides have several injury problems ahead of the game, and this is how GIVEMESPORT expects the teams to line up as a result.
Liverpool Team News
The Reds have a defensive injury crisis to deal with ahead of the game, with Jeremie Frimpong, Conor Bradley, and Giovanni Leoni ruled out, while Joe Gomez is also a doubt with a groin problem.
Striker Alexander Isak remains out with a broken leg too, which should see Hugo Ekitike lead the line in attack.
