Assistant coach Edmund Riemer was in charge of Sunday’s training session with Daniel Farke entering isolation after testing positive for Covid. The club still need the results of a PCR test to confirm that their manager has come down with the illness.

If his symptoms are mild, Farke should return in time for their upcoming match against Köln on Sunday. Gladbach have a lot to work on after their disastrous loss to Werder Bremen on Matchday 8.
