Bayern Munich defender Josip Stanisic was forced to limp out of the German champions’ training session on Tuesday morning, according to Bild.
In a duel for the ball, Jonathan Tah accidentally stepped on Stanisic’s right foot at full speed.
After lying down briefly, the full-back tried to resume training, but was soon forced to stop and head to the tunnel early.
It is currently unclear whether the Croatia international will face a spell on the sidelines or escaped with just a knock. Stanisic only recently made his return from an ankle problem.
Meanwhile, Harry Kane was completely absent from training on Tuesday due to illness.
Konrad Laimer was also missing as he continues his recovery from a calf injury, but Raphael Guerreiro took part in the session and is expected to be back in the squad for Sunday’s game against Hoffenheim.
