Junior Adamu may be set to depart SC Freiburg before the current winter transfer window shuts, according to Sky Germany.
Reigning Scottish Premiership champions Celtic are said to be showing concrete interest in a loan deal for the 24-year-old.
Should the Glasgow side pull off a deal, Adamu would be their second loan signing from the Bundesliga this January after Tomáš Čvančara.
However, the report also suggests that two other unnamed clubs are also reportedly interested in the striker.
Adamu, who signed from RB Salzburg for €6million in the summer of 2023, is hardly in demand at Freiburg anymore.
The Austrian has played in just one of the last 9 league matches – in the Europa League, he’s had more game time but has only scored one goal.
