Marlon Irlbacher reports that Bundesliga veteran Felix Passlack’s transfer to Hibernian has been finalized. The 27-year-old heads to Hibs to sign a new three-and-a-half year contract. Passlack’s 2. Bundesliga outfit Bochum will receive a transfer fee in the low six-figure-range.
Felix Passlack gradually matured into a solid Bundesliga professional
Many thought the former Borussia Dortmund academy man never fully lived up to his potential, as evidenced by the fact that BVB loaned him out three separate times. Passlack still managed to cobble together some useful appearances as a useful wide man on both flanks for Dortmund, Hoffenheim, and later Bochum in the German top flight.
Upon Bochum’s relegation last year, Passlack had scraped together 82 Bundesliga appearances in which he registered five German top flight goals. After moving to Dortmund’s smaller Ruhr rivals, Passlack became a Bundesliga regular. He scored one goal and registered six assists in 31 Bundesliga appearances for the relegated Revierklub last season.
