Ivan Perisic has taken a decisive step to force a return to San Siro by officially handing in a transfer request to PSV Eindhoven.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Croatian veteran is determined to secure a move back to Inter before the January window slams shut. However, the path is currently blocked by the Dutch club’s management. PSV have not yet opened up to a sale, largely due to their upcoming high-stakes Eredivisie clash against Feyenoord.
Despite this initial resistance from the Eindhoven board, the report makes it clear that Perisic has no intention of backing down. The player will continue to push for the transfer in the coming hours, prioritising a reunion with the Nerazzurri over staying in the Netherlands.
Inter remain watchful as they wait for PSV to soften their stance, with Perisic’s firm position expected to be the catalyst for a potential breakthrough in negotiations.
