Torino are edging closer to the signing of promising Tottenham Hotspur youngster Callum Olusesi as they look to add fresh talent to their ranks before the January deadline.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, the Granata are in the final stages of defining a deal for the 18-year-old midfielder. The transfer is expected to be structured as a loan with an option to buy, allowing the Italian side to integrate the player into their setup immediately while maintaining control over a potential permanent stay.
This development follows reports from Alfredo Pedullà, who previously claimed that the player’s entourage had proactively offered Torino the opportunity to sign the English youth international. Torino’s management has decided to take up the chance, primarily because they wish to evaluate Olusesi’s development and adaptation to Italian football firsthand before committing to a significant permanent investment.
Olusesi has been around the Spurs first-team this season, having been on the bench multiple times.
