Napoli are accelerating their efforts to secure Hellas Verona talent Giovane, moving into a pole position that could see the deal finalized shortly.
According to Alfredo Pedullà, the Partenopei are prepared to submit a formal bid of €20 million for the Brazilian midfielder. Verona have already signaled their willingness to accept such a valuation, provided the necessary financial guarantees are included in what has become a complex transfer market environment.
While Napoli look to close the operation, Lazio remain vigilant in the background. The Biancocelesti are monitoring the situation closely and are ready to pounce should any complications arise between Napoli and Verona. However, Lazio’s current approach is significantly different; they are only willing to start a deal at a base of €10 million and intend to include Reda Belahyane as part of the package to reach a total value of around €14 million.
As it stands, Antonio Conte’s side are in the driving seat, working to provide Verona with the assurances needed to wrap up the transfer and bring the 22-year-old to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.
