According to exclusive Sky Germany’s sources, FC Augsburg and TSG Hoffenheim are in advanced negotiations over Arthur Chaves.
The Brazilian centre-half has often found himself stuck on the bench at the Sinsheim club so far this campaign.
With fierce competition from Robin Hranac and Albian Hajdari, Chaves can’t find a route into Christian Ilzer’s plans.
A loan deal with a very high purchase option is reportedly on the table for the 24-year-old who is eager to play regularly again.
Besides fellow Bundesliga side Augsburg, a handful of unnamed English clubs have also expressed interest.
However, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg’s report, Augsburg remain in pole position to sign the out-of-favour defender.
