Atlético Madrid travel to the Estadio Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán to face Sevilla on Saturday in the seventh round of La Liga, with kick-off scheduled at 6.30pm local time.
Thomas Lemar has been deemed fit to play in the fixture, report Marca. The Frenchman participated fully in the team’s final training session before their scheduled trip to Andalucía later today.
Sergio Reguilón will not be in the match-day squad as he continues to recover from his injury. Rodrigo De Paul will also be absent as he remained in Argentina due to personal reasons with the permission of the club.
Lemar’s recovery will provide Diego Simeone more options in the Atlético Madrid midfield and he could prove to be vital in helping the team create more chances upfront.
The Argentinian coach will also have the opportunity to use José María Giménez and Stefan Savić together for the first time this season and potentially opt for a more traditional back-four defensive line.
