Speaking exclusively to Kicker, Bayern Munich forward Thomas Müller wants Robert Lewandowski to remain at the club.
“I would like my long-term attacking partner to stay,” said the 32-year-old. Regarding the statements made on internationally by Lewandowski, Müller added: “It’s a break and we’ve experienced this a lot during these times. I remember Franck Ribéry’s wish to move to Real Madrid.
“One this is certain: every player who is still under contract in Munich on September 1 will also want to play well, because no player enjoys playing badly.”
Lewandowski has made it known that he would like to leave Bayern Munich as he enters the final year of his contract.
