Speaking to media ahead of Borussia Dortmund’s game against FC Köln on Saturday, Edin Terzić has confirmed that they’ll be without Gio Reyna despite the American making a recent return to the squad following a previous injury.
“Gio Reyna, Gregor Kobel and Marco Reus will not be available for us yet,” said Terzić. “Gio Reyna has pulled a muscle and will miss seven to ten days. Everyone else who were slightly injured during the break are fit for action on Saturday.”
Reus was substituted against Schalke in the 32nd minute after sustaining an ankle injury that will keep the 33-year-old out for around three weeks. “We’re hoping that Marco will be able to slowly start training again after this weekend,” added Terzić.
Sitting second in the Bundesliga and two points behind leaders Union Berlin, Borussia Dortmund make the short trip to Köln on Saturday afternoon as Anthony Modeste returns to his former club.
