Tottenham have set their eyes on Atlético Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak, report Mundo Deportivo.
The Premier League side are preparing a succession plan for their goalkeeping department. Tottenham are hoping to find a replacement for Hugo Lloris, who is turning 36 this coming December.
It is believed that the North London club are considering to make a move for Jan Oblak, who could act as the long-term alternative for the French veteran.
However, while it has not been made public, it is believed that the Slovenian has signed a long-term contract extension with Atletico Madrid that is set to keep him at Los Colchoneros until at least June 2028.
Tottenham are not the only Premier League team interested in securing the services of the 29-year-old. According to reports, Manchester United are also keen on seeing Oblak amongst their ranks as David de Gea’s future at the club remains uncertain.
