FFF president Philippe Diallo has confirmed that the French national are poised to face Colombia and Brazil in the United States next March. Les Bleus will cross the Atlantic during the March international break to settle in before the 2026 World Cup, for which France have qualified in winning the European Qualifiers’ Group D.
“The documents are not yet signed, but the deal is progressing well so we can breathe American air in March”, said Diallo. France would face Colombia in Miami before locking horns with Brazil in Boston. As they are both seeded, France and Brazil won’t be in the same group in the World Cup finals, although Colombia could potentially end up in France’s squad. In such case, one of the two teams might consider canceling the game, according to Le Parisien.
