Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Daniel Farke has revealed that Hannes Wolf will not be able to feature again in 2022.
The 23-year-old needs surgery on his shoulder after injuring himself in Gladbach’s 3-0 win over RB Leipzig.
“Hannes will have to undergo surgery on his shoulder. He definitely won’t play another game this year,” Farke is quoted as saying by Rheinische Post.
“When you make a plan for what’s going to happen in eight weeks, then injuries or other extraordinary things come along that you don’t expect,” Farke lamented.
