La Liga giants Barcelona have held exploratory talks with the representatives of Crystal Palace star Daniel Muñoz.
This comes with a view to a potential future move for the Colombian.
The name of defender Muñoz has of course emerged as an increasingly prominent one in the headlines in Barcelona over recent weeks.
As much comes amid the understanding that the Camp Nou brass have earmarked the 29-year-old as a leading target on the transfer market.
Amid the ongoing struggles of Jules Koundé for form over the early months of the campaign, Muñoz is considered the ideal alternative profile.
So much so that, as alluded to above, Barca have made first contact over a deal for the talented right-back.
As per a report from journalist Julián Capera of ESPN, Deco and co. have held a round of ‘informal talks’ with Muñoz’s entourage.
It is currently unclear whether as much comes with a view to a potential offer for his signature in January, or next summer.
