Bild reports that Borussia Dortmund are considering a winter move for Jadon Sancho, with the winger struggling at Aston Villa.
The 25-year-old has only made 336 minutes across eight appearances since joining from Manchester United on loan in the summer, and Villa are said to be unhappy with Sancho’s performances, so much so that they could terminate his loan in the winter.
Dortmund continue to watch the situation of Sancho and are weighing up whether to make a move for the winger in the winter, as he could be available for a low fee. Add to this, the 25-year-old’s contract at United expires next summer.
Die Schwarzgelben had shown an interest in the Englishman in the summer, and this would be the third time Sancho has returned to the Signal Iduna Park.
Do Dortmund need Sancho?
Potentially yes.
Dortmund need more creative players to help provide for the flailing Serhou Guirassy. Neither Karim Adeyemi nor Maximilian Beier are creative enough, as seen in BVB’s recent results.
If Sancho can buy into Niko Kovac’s style of play, then he could add a new dimension to die Schwarzgelben’s attack that they are currently missing.
