Kingsley Coman returned to training on Tuesday after suffering a hamstring injury in training previously but a return against Bayer Leverkusen is questionable, according to Bild.
The Frenchman missed three games for Bayern Munich including their 2-2 draw against VfB Stuttgart and 1-0 loss to Augsburg in the league, as well as their 2-0 win against Barcelona in the Champions League. Coman returned with light running to help him regain fitness while his teammates are away on international duty.
The 26-year-old will add a much-needed boost to Bayern’s attack when he is back to full fitness as his teammates have struggled to be prolific in front of goal, amassing 93 shots over the past three games with only three goals in the league.
Coman currently has one goal and three assists in his three games that he has played in the Bundesliga.
Bayern Munich currently find themselves in fifth and already five points behind leaders Union Berlin. Julian Nagelsmann’s side have picked up just three points from a possible 12.
