Héctor Bellerín has spoken about his time on loan at Real Betis.
“It’s been a very nice season, so I’m sorry to have to leave Betis, although I don’t know for how long,” he said on Cadena SER’s Hoy por Hoy programme.
“The only thing I know is that I have to go back to England,” Bellerín said when questioned about his future.
On his time at Betis
“For me it has been one of the happiest times as a player and as a person, having fulfilled a dream and having become much closer to my family thanks to such a beautiful feeling as Beticismo. I experienced some very beautiful moments in that stadium and I hope I can continue to experience them.
“The city [Seville] and the dressing room have made it very easy for me. When I’d been there for a month, I felt like I’d been there for two years. It was a pleasure.
“I describe myself as a very normal person. Football is the tool that has made me known. I’m a very normal 27-year-old, who has been lucky enough to dedicate himself to his passion. I continue to grow and get to know myself every day.”
