Callum Hudson-Odoi has a clause in his year-long Leverkusen loan deal that allows a return to his parent club in January. Per Bild, Chelsea are strongly considering this option, as new coach Graham Potter is a major fan of the winger. Potter had previously tried to sign Hudson-Odoi at Brighton.
The 21-year-old’s return to the Premier League in the winter window would be a huge blow for a struggling Leverkusen side. Hudson-Odoi has quickly become a regular starter under Gerardo Seoane, but is still looking for his first goal of the season.
