La Liga outfit Sevilla are considering a January swoop for Manchester United star Joshua Zirkzee.
That’s according to Marca, citing English outlet The Mirror, who have early this week provided an insight into the situation.
Frontman Zirkzee is for his part in the midst of a difficult campaign to date, which has seen the former Bologna man struggle badly for game time under the watch of manager Ruben Amorim.
Desperate for a place in the Netherlands’ squad for next summer’s World Cup, the 24-year-old is therefore giving real consideration to a January transfer.
And one club ready to position themselves in the running in the case of Zirkzee becoming available are the aforementioned Sevilla.
The board at The Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán are giving real consideration to dipping into the market for attacking reinforcements following the turn of the year.
And Zirkzee, potentially available for a half-season loan, is one name understood to be on the radar of the Nervionenses.
