Liverpool duo Conor Bradley and Milos Kerkez are causing the Reds problems at the moment, and former Manchester United defender Gary Neville says Arne Slot is going to keep getting the same results if he continues playing them.
It’s been a difficult period for the Merseyside club, who have now lost four Premier League games on the bounce. After looking like they could breeze to another title once again, winning their opening five matches, they’re in danger of slipping out of the title race as they quickly drop down the league table.
At the weekend, Liverpool’s fourth defeat in a row came against Brentford, with the Reds losing away to a side who have shown plenty of inconsistency this season. Slot’s side couldn’t deal with the physicality and set-pieces of Brentford, and they are currently showing no signs of being able to turn things around.
Gary Nevile: Liverpool Must Drop Kerkez and Bradley

Speaking on the Gary Neville Podcast, the former United defender has said that Slot must drop Kerkez and Bradley, or he’s going to keep getting the same results…
“If he carries on playing Kerkez at left back, and he carries on playing Bradley at right back, and they carry on being as exposed as they are in midfield, you’ll keep getting the same results. Or you’ll keep, basically, every single week, going into a game flipping a coin, and thinking, well, are we going to win, or are we going to lose?”
Slot certainly has options to mix things up, rather than sticking with both Kerkez and Bradley. Dominik Szoboszlai and Joe Gomez, out of the players who are available, are capable of replacing Bradley at right-back, while Andy Robertson will be chomping at the bit to receive some game time on the left-hand side.
