VfL Bochum are apparently found their preferred successor for the recently sacked head coach Thomas Reis.
According to Bild, Vitesse coach Thomas Letsch has reached an agreement with Bochum to take the reins from current interim coach Heiko Butscher.
The only problem is that 54-year-old Letsch is under contract with Vitesse until the end of the season. Therefore, Bochum need to negotiate a transfer fee with the Dutch Eredivisie side.
The former Austria Wien coach has been at Vitesse since the summer of 2020.
Bochum are bottom of the table, having taken just one point from their first seven Bundesliga games.
