Eintracht Frankfurt showed a keen interest in Newcastle United’s William Osula (22) during the summer transfer window, without getting the deal over the line. However, Sacha Tavolieri now understands that the German side are set to revive their interest in the centre-forward.
Osula, at the time of Eintracht Frankfurt’s interest in the summer, was the back-up to new signing Nick Woltemade. However, since, the Magpies have completed the signing of Yoane Wissa. Whilst the latter is currently sidelined, he will be able to provide back-up for the German forward, who has hit the ground running since moving to the Premier League.
It could open the door for Osula to leave the club. Tavolieri understands that Eintracht Frankfurt are preparing a loan offer for the Denmark youth international, who has found gametime limited at the start of the campaign. Despite playing in nine games and netting three goals, he has started just one game in the Premier League.
