Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy is expected to return to training with the team on Tuesday after leaving the Guinean national team camp early.
Therefore, his participation in Saturday’s Bundesliga top-of-the-table clash with Bayern Munich is not in danger.
The 29-year-old, who recently missed Dortmund’s 2–0 win over Mainz due to a thigh problem, was rested for Guinea’s 2–1 victory over Mozambique on Thursday.
Since Guinea can no longer qualify for next year’s World Cup, Guirassy was granted a few days off by the Guinean Football Federation.
Borussia Dortmund were informed of this, a club spokesperson said on Sunday, according to DPA.
