Ilyas Ansah has revealed that he looks up to Arsenal legend Thierry Henry, even keeping a picture of the French icon hanging at home.

During his illustrious career, former France international Thierry Henry inspired countless fans around the world with his elegant playing style and prolific goal scoring.
One of those he made a lasting impression on is young 1. FC Union Berlin striker Ilyas Ansah, who recently told Sport Bild that he has always looked up to the former Arsenal star.
“Thierry Henry is my role model. The way he played football is incredibly enjoyable to watch,” said Ansah.
“I watched countless videos of him on YouTube and thought: I want to play football the way he does – that’s my goal. I have a picture of him at my home.”
At the age of 20, Ansah moved to Union Berlin from Paderborn over the summer. He is currently with the German U21 national team.
