Bayer Leverkusen’s Jarell Quansah was included in Thomas Tuchel’s England squad once again, but the center-back will now return to his club as he’s still waiting for his first appearance in international football.
The 22-year-old has been in top form for the Bundesliga outfit since joining from Liverpool in the summer. Leverkusen will now assess the extent of his knee injury ahead of their busy schedule until the next international break.
Quansah was an unused substitute in England’s impressive win over Wales. The Three Lions will not add a replacement for the World Cup qualifier against Latvia.
