Official | Kévin Danois extends contract with Auxerre

AJ Auxerre academy product Kévin Danois (21) has extended his contract with AJA. The move comes a week after the club prolonged Clément Akpa’s (23) time with Les Diplomates until 2028.

Danois’s previous contract was to expire in 2028. The French attacking midfielder came through the club’s academy from La Gauloise in 2019, and has appeared in every one of his side’s Ligue 1 fixtures so far this season.

In the previous Ligue 1 campaign, he played in 22 matches for Christophe Pélissier’s men. His development and performances on the field have garnered the attention not only from his club coach but also from France. Gérald Baticle, the French youth coach and a former Auxerre striker called him up to the French U-21 side for the first time last month.

He collected his first international cap in their 3-0 triumph over the Serbia U-21 side in September, playing the final 16 minutes of that match.
