Liverpool could be ready to sell Joe Gomez in the upcoming January transfer window as long as they can also secure a replacement.
As reported here for the Daily Briefing, the Reds would ideally prefer to keep Gomez, but would be prepared to let him go if the money is right.
There is understood to be interest once again from AC Milan, who also came close to signing the England international during the summer.
Gomez isn’t a regular in Arne Slot’s side, so there could be a chance for him to move on, and it seems Milan are keen to take advantage of the situation.
Sources on potential Joe Gomez transfer exit

“Milan aim to capitalize on Gomez’s limited minutes,” my source told me. “Milan feel their hopes are still alive and they are preparing a fresh move.”
The likes of Tottenham and Juventus could also be in the mix, while Crystal Palace will likely also be one to watch.
Liverpool have a known interest in signing Palace centre-back Marc Guehi, and it seems Gomez’s name came up during those discussions in the summer.
What next for Liverpool after busy summer transfer window?
Liverpool have just lost two games in a row, and it’s fair to say their busy summer isn’t quite having the desired impact so far.
Slot’s side don’t look quite as convincing as they did last term, so there could perhaps be room to make a defensive signing to help improve performances.
At the same time, though, LFC have already spent so much and are yet to see the best of the likes of Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez in particular.
Hugo Ekitike has performed well, but Alexander Isak is still settling in and yet to reach peak fitness and form.
