Borussia Dortmund midfielder Julian Brandt is currently sidelined after undergoing surgery, according to Sport1.
The report states that Brandt had surgery on his scaphoid during the international break, as the wrist injury he suffered during the Club World Cup has continued to cause problems for him.
However, the 29-year-old will not be out for long and could return to training later this week.
This means it is possible that he will be available for Dortmund’s away game against Heidenheim on Saturday.
So far this season, Brandt has made three appearances for Dortmund, scoring once.
