A breakthrough member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Real Madrid is expected to be afforded a call-up for the club’s season opener next week.
That’s according to El Chiringuito TV, who point towards Thiago Pitarch as the player in question.
The name of youngster Pitarch has of course emerged as a prominent one in the chatter surrounding Real Madrid over the last week.
This comes after word that the 18-year-old had been called up to first-team training in Spain’s capital was quickly followed by confirmation that Xabi Alonso had been left dazzled by Pitarch’s talents.
As much culminated in the midfielder being handed a new Blancos contract this weekend.
And as alluded to above, if the latest word stemming from the media is anything to go by, then Pitarch’s sudden emergence looks set to be taken up another notch over the days ahead.
As per a report from El Chiringuito TV:
‘Pitarch will not play against Ibiza with Castilla. Extended until 2030, everything suggests that Xabi Alonso is counting on him against Osasuna.’
