
The talented Brazilian winger has been added to the EFL Championship club’s watchlist.
Sky Germany reports that Southampton have added Leo Scienza to their shortlist after making initial contact with the player.
The Saints’ German bosses Johannes Spors and Tim Lederer know the Heidenheim play-off hero well from the Bundesliga.
Scienza, who has already been linked with a move to England this summer, is under contract with Heidenheim until 2027.
The Baden-Württemberg side would be willing to negotiate for the Brazilian if a mid single-digit million fee arrives.
After catching the eye at SSV Ulm in the 2023-24, the 26-year-old has since provided 6 goals and 8 assists in 37 games for Heidenheim to date.
