Serie A side Parma are facing the major possibility of losing Giovanni Leoni to Liverpool and they could now be prepared to sell him for €35 million.
TMW’s Nicolo Ceccarini has reported that Liverpool are yet to make a formal offer for the Italian. They only made concrete contact to know about the player and they are now growing convinced that they will be able to sign the teenager.
A formal offer can be made soon, with Inter now seemingly out of the picture for the 18-year-old defender.
There has been talk that Parma will be happy to sell Leoni for €30 million plus bonuses, Ceccarini claims that they want a total package of €35 million and this can seal the deal for Liverpool.
It remains to be seen how much the Reds offer for the talent, even if a higher price tag was spoken of previously by the Italian media.
