Borussia Dortmund have announced that Nico Schlotterbeck has resumed ball training.
Nico Schlotterbeck has taken the next step forward in his recovery from the meniscus tear injury he suffered back in April.
As Borussia Dortmund announced on Tuesday, the centre-back has resumed training with the ball.
While it was initially feared Schlotterbeck would be sidelined until late October, recent reports have suggested he could return as early as the end of September given his encouraging progress.
Dortmund are also currently managing injuries to Niklas Süle, Emre Can, and Julien Duranville.
The Black and Yellows kick off their 2025/26 campaign against Rot-Weiss Essen in the DFB-Pokal on Monday.
