Atlético Madrid defeated Celta Vigo 4-1 at the Estadio Metropolitano last night.
Jan Oblak missed the game due to an injury he picked up midweek in their Champions League fixture against Porto when he collided with Reinildo Mandava.
Ivo Grbić stood between the sticks against Os Celestes, who made his second appearance of the season.
As reported by Marca, Oblak will undergo a test to see whether he would be potentially fit to play in Los Colchoneros’ Champions League match against Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday night at 9.00pm local time.
The team is expected to travel to Germany tomorrow morning from Madrid-Barajas airport.
It is believed that the 29-year-old will play if he is at 20% just like it happened last week against Porto, as he is one of the most important players in Diego Simeone’s squad.
João Félix also missed this morning’s training due to a knock he received yesterday against Celta Vigo.
