Union without Doekhi against Köln, American striker Jordan should be ready

FC Union Berlin head-coach Urs Fischer supplied injury updates during his final pre-match presser on Saturday afternoon. 

Doekhi had captured the eye of many Bundesliga watchers after two very impressive performances in Fischer’s starting XI over the last two rounds. The summer acquisition registered an notable assist in the 6-1 rout of Schalke and held his own in the 1-1 draw with German giants FC Bayer München.

Fischer may still have a serviceable replacement for his back three in the form of another heralded summer arrival, Portuguese defender Diego, whom the FCU gaffer proclaimed was once again fit.
